The furnishing process is a pathway from dreams to reality. Furnishing interiors is a complex activity, and turning an empty room into a living space requires a number of different steps and professional experts. We are able to guarantee quality, professionalism and coordination at every stage of the process.

Taking measurements

The first step towards a precise, painstaking end result involves the use of cutting-edge measuring instruments to transfer the state of the art of the property onto paper with meticulous accuracy. At this stage, the designer carefully examines the space to be furnished, using their experience and imagination to come up with an effective, practical configuration for the various rooms and passages and their functions. This first step is one of the trickiest, since it can influence the outcome of the entire process.

Meeting with the client

This is known as the “preparatory stage”, during which the designer engages thoroughly with the client to gather as much information as possible about their lifestyle and needs. These details are essential to optimise the layout, function and use of the furnishings, and to create a truly customised solution. This stage is also vitally important, because the dreams and expectations of the client are key factors in our work.

Sketches and materials

The designer combines all the information gathered during the preceding stages to produce a series of sketches and outlines, watercolours and perspective drawings, accompanying these with charts of different colours and materials. This allows the client to visualise how the various components will be arranged within the setting, creating a picture of how their home will be furnished. This opportunity to imagine themselves in the atmosphere created will allow them to decide whether the project is on the right track, or whether some changes need to be made.

The draft project

Following the initial planning stage, the time comes to make more detailed decisions on the exact design for the interior of the home. Using computerised tools, the designer can now produce a draft project. The first technical design stage focuses specifically on the ergonomic and practical aspects of the furnishings, as well as the precise location and the exact positioning of functional areas and passageways, with the express aim of creating harmony within the home.

The final design

On the basis of the draft project, we draw up various tables with specific designs and perspective drawings for the operations involved in creating the setting: demolition and construction work, electrical systems, floors, ceilings, walls, and so on. The final design acts as a guide for the various figures involved in the subsequent instalment of the systems and assembly of the furnishings and installing, allowing each of to have a precise overall vision of the project from a technical point of view.

This stage involves the specific, detailed development of each individual furnishing element. A system of numbers and letters is used to identify each element, clearly showing exactly where it is located on the plan. This design is also accompanied by a special book containing a detailed description of the various furnishings and components, indicating measurements, colours, finishes, codes, any covering materials, etc. and illustrated by means of photos and technical drawings.

Transporting the furniture from our factory to the client’s home requires great care to safeguard the pieces from any possible damage. This is why we pay painstaking attention to packaging, so that the more fragile components are protected before loading them into suitable means of transport such as delivery vehicles or container lorries. The scrupulous care we take during this stage enables us to ensure our products reach their destination in perfect condition.

Assembly and installation

When they reach their destination, the furniture components are assembled and the various systems installed. This stage is fundamental for the quality of the end result, so we always entrust the work to specially trained craftsmen with an expert knowledge of the techniques involved in assembling made-to-measure furniture. Thanks to the pre-assembly processes carried out on our premises, all the individual elements have a unique identification number, so workers need not waste time in the client’s home.

After-sales service

Our furnishing solutions are designed for everyday use and enjoyment, and of course family life and daily activities subject the furniture to continual changes in position, knocks, repeated contact and wear and tear. To assist our clients, we keep a record of all the details of every single design project, including finishes, measurements, fabrics and samples, so that we are still able to provide you with a prompt replacement or repair service even many years after installation.
